Delivery time
Mountain World operates under the following shipping terms:
1. Product Shipping
1.1 Purchase Policy
All products available at Mountain World are shipped directly from our international suppliers to the address provided at checkout. Delivery takes approximately 7 to 20 days (after dispatch), depending on the destination.
1.1.1 Tracking Code
We provide a tracking number so customers can monitor the progress of their order delivery.
Important: In certain cases, delivery times may be extended due to delays, strikes, public holidays, or periods of high demand affecting Royal Mail and/or courier services — circumstances beyond our control.
Mountain World guarantees delivery of your order. We take full responsibility and will issue a full refund for products that are lost or misplaced during transit. All products are shipped with shipping insurance and tracking. Your delivery is 100% guaranteed.
1.2 Stock Availability
Mountain World works with international suppliers. Due to time zone differences and stock fluctuations, occasional availability issues may occur.
If this happens, our customer service team will contact you to inform you of the restocking timeframe and, where appropriate, suggest exchange options. We are committed to delivering the product exactly as shown (image, size, and colour) at the time of purchase.
1.3 Insured Shipping
You may receive more than one package, as products can be dispatched from different logistics centres. This is completely normal, and you will receive all relevant tracking numbers if this occurs.
1.4 Order Tracking
Products are shipped via Royal Mail or trusted courier services. A tracking number will always be provided so customers can follow their delivery progress. Mountain World will guide customers on how to track their order if needed.
Note: The tracking code will be sent to your email once made available by the supplier (usually within up to 3 working days after payment confirmation).
2. General Conditions
2.1 Address Accuracy
Mountain World will ship products to the address provided by the customer at checkout. Please ensure that your address details are entered correctly and completely to avoid delivery issues.
2.2 Courier Delivery
Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package.
Courier services typically attempt delivery up to 3 times, while Royal Mail generally makes up to 2 delivery attempts.
Note: If delivery via courier is unsuccessful after 3 attempts, the package will be returned to the sender. In such cases, a new shipping fee will be required for reshipment.
2.3 Delivery by Royal Mail
If no one is available at the address during delivery attempts, the parcel may be taken to the nearest Royal Mail office. The recipient must collect the parcel within 7 calendar days.
Note: If the parcel is not collected within this period, Royal Mail regulations require it to be returned to the sender. A new shipping fee will be required for reshipment.
All details regarding delivery attempts and the address of the Royal Mail office for collection will be available in the tracking information on the Royal Mail website, using the tracking code provided by Mountain World.
2.4 Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Mountain World is not responsible for incorrectly or incompletely entered delivery addresses. If the address details are incorrect or incomplete, Royal Mail or the courier service will return the parcel to the sender, and no further delivery attempts will be made to that address.
Reshipment will require payment of a new shipping fee.
2.5 Duties and Taxes
If any customs duties, clearance fees, or taxes are charged, these will be the responsibility of Mountain World. You will only pay the amount shown at checkout.
